Mixed Baggage.

A plethora of comprehensive textures and structural reconfigurations. Chestnut brown and candy apple red shades of heterogeneous and transfused accoutrements defy conventional perspectives with artistic originality. Slate grey and onyx saturations of customary parcels and diversified decor fuse chiffon leopard prints with geometric patterns in an effortless manner. Multifarious and ingenious.

MEN’S COLOR THEME

Classic Reflection.

Contemplative representations of innovative grandeur. Raw sienna and desert sand colorations are reminiscent of vintage essentials. Coral and dark sepia shades of speculative panache and savoir-faire indicate impeccable sophistication. Mustard and midnight blue fuse symbolically with sea green. A portrait of unrelenting antiquity.

CHILDREN’S COLOR THEME

Trail Blazers.

An animated and rustic journey with a seeking spirit foradventure. Flecks of silver are reminiscent of a late-autumn thunderous afternoon and accentuate superfluous fleece fabrications. Sun-burnt sienna shades and cinnamon brown undertones resonate with joyous clarity. Ivory and chestnut saturations create a symbiotic unison upon a canvas of rugged appeal. Blazing a path for future generations.

The Top 10 Colors

Super saturated regal shades are the most important, bringing out a romantic dimension for plenty of lush velvets, decorative silk jacquards, and cozy wool, while a slew of masculine hues that could easily be the new neutrals (cherrywood brown, Dijon yellow, iron oxide, saddle brown, and tank olive) pointed towards a more refined version of workwear and time-honored uniforms. Finally, eye-popping brights and a range of frosted neutrals that easily pair back to the tried-and-true mid-tones add a surprising novelty to winter assortments.

SMOKE GREEN (Frosted Neutrals)

Top Color, Menswear Market, F/W 2015-16, SMOKE GREEN (Frosted Neutrals)
One of the newer emerging colors for Fall/Winter is a smokey shade of green-grey, perfect for woolen bombers, military jackets, and textural tailoring like corduroy or velvet.

MAUVE (Frosted Neutrals)

Top Color, Menswear Market, F/W 2015-16, MAUVE (Frosted Neutrals)
Unusual for fall collections was a brief showing of mauve pink, with strong undercurrents of light grey. It’s a sophisticated and curiously different alternative from the many darker greys that dominate assortments.

CHERRYWOOD (Landscape Tones)

Top Color, Menswear Market, F/W 2015-16, CHERRYWOOD (Landscape Tones)
Brown remains the new grey, meaning a key neutral. With hints of rich red, cherrywood is a beautiful complement to ivory and charcoal grey. Perfect for suede, leather, and suiting, it is a sophisticated new option for F/W.

SADDLE BROWN (Landscape Tones)

Top Color, Menswear Market, F/W 2015-16, SADDLE BROWN (Landscape Tones)

IRON OXIDE (Landscape Tones)

Top Color, Menswear Market, F/W 2015-16, Iron Oxide
Industrial shades of rust which range from orange to faded are important as a contrast to the many suiting greys and inky blues of the season.

BENCH GREEN (Regal Shades)

Top Color, Menswear Market, F/W 2015-16, Bench Green
Deeply saturated shades of bottle green are typically lustrous for active influence. Often paired back to charcoal, ink or black, it remains a key color for menswear.

CADET BLUE (Regal Shades)

Top Color, Menswear Market, F/W 2015-16, CADET BLUE (Regal Shades)
The dominant shade of mid-blue is a utilitarian contrast to the many inks and powder blues on the runways. Monochromatic styling is the most directional, and tweed shows up in interesting new hues.

CLARET RED (Regal Shades)

Top Color, Menswear Market, F/W 2015-16, CLARET RED (Regal Shades)
Warmer and more red than last season’s vineyard, claret is the perfect option for crushed velvet suiting and lustrous satin tuxedos.
